Background 

Pierluigi Balduzzi is an Associate Professor of Finance and Economics in the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. His research interests include asset pricing models, portfolio choice and fixed income markets. Professor Balduzzi has published in a variety of journals and has presented his work at numerous conferences and seminars. Prior to joining Boston College in 1997, he taught at New York University for six years. Professor Balduzzi has also taught courses or seminars for Credit Suisse First Boston and Nomura Securities International and served as a consultant to MidFirst Bank in Oklahoma City.

Dr. Balduzzi received his undergraduate degree in Economic and Social Sciences from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles.
