The campus is approximately six miles west of the city of Boston.

Parking

Public parking is available at the Beacon Street garage next to the football stadium on Perimeter Road. Parking is free for two hours and $2.00 per hour after for a daily maximum of $10.00. Upon entry to the garage all visitors should take a ticket. A validated (paid) ticket is required to exit the garage. Tickets may be validated through payment at the garage pay station on the first floor of the garage. Restricted permit parking is available in the lot outside Hovey House.

From Points North and South:

Take Interstate 95 (Route 128) to Exit 24 (Route 30). Proceed east on Route 30, also known as Commonwealth Avenue, and follow for about five miles to Boston College. At the main entrance of Boston College, turn left on to St. Thomas More Road. Turn right on to Beacon Street. At the light, make a left onto Hammond Street. Hovey House is located at 258 Hammond Street, the first driveway on the left.

From Points West:

Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (Route 90) to Exit 17. At the first set of lights after the exit ramp, take a right onto Centre Street. Follow Centre Street to the fourth set of lights, and turn left onto Commonwealth Avenue. Follow Commonwealth Avenue 1-1/2 miles to Boston College. At the main entrance of Boston College, turn left on to St. Thomas More Road. Turn right on to Beacon Street. At the light, make a left onto Hammond Street. Hovey House is located at 258 Hammond Street, the first driveway on the left.

From Downtown Boston:

Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (Route 90) to Exit 17. Take a left over the bridge after passing the Sheraton Tara Hotel. Take the first right onto Centre Street. Follow above directions from Centre Street. At the main entrance of Boston College, turn left on to St. Thomas More Road. Turn right on to Beacon Street. At the light, make a left onto Hammond Street. Hovey House is located at 258 Hammond Street, the first driveway on the left.

Public Transportation:

Take the Green Line D Train (Riverside) to the Chestnut Hill station. Walk through the parking lot towards the street entrance. Turn right onto Hammond Street (towards the Chestnut Hill School). Continue on Hammond Street approximately four blocks. Hovey House is located at 258 Hammond Street, the last building on the right before the intersection with Beacon Street. (10-15 minute walk).
