Currently, the 5500-CRR database includes plan-level data for the years 1990-2007. For each year, these datasets include basic plan information (currently provided in the main 5500 Form); actuarial information (schedule B); financial information (schedule H); and pension coverage information (schedule T). The data are available in Stata Format (10+ compatible), the codebooks are in Excel, and the Forms and Instructions are in PDF format. The codebooks provide the link between the data and the actual forms (the column labeled “Item Number” includes the specific position of each variable in the forms).  The original Form instructions include the description of each item in the Form.
