His research primarily studies the valuation of assets and the evaluation of portfolios’ returns and risks. His work has also covered macroeconomic topics in capital formation, capital market institutions, and financial regulatory policy. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University (1973) and a CFA designation (2007).
