Annika Sundén

Economist

Annika Sundén is a freelance economist. Previously, she was the director of labour market analysis at the Swedish Employment Service, the chief economist at the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, the chief of staff and deputy director general at the Swedish Pensions Agency, and the head of the pension branch at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, in addition to leading a number of public inquiry commissions. Annika Sundén was also previously head of research at the Center for Retirement Research at Boston College and worked as an economist at the United States Federal Reserve Bank.

Dr. Sundén earned her B.S. from the Stockholm School of Economics and an M.S. and a Ph.D. in labor economics from Cornell University.
