Yimeng Yin

Research Economist

Yimeng Yin is a research economist at the Center for Retirement Research at Boston College. His research interests include public pensions, retirement security, social insurance, and economic forecasting. He has conducted a wide range of research projects on funding risks and risk-sharing policies of state and local government pension plans and presented to policy and academic audiences. Before joining the center, he worked as a economic researcher at the Center for Policy Research at the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy at the University at Albany, SUNY, research analyst at the Rockefeller Institute of Government, and assistant researcher at the Center for Human and Economic Development Studies at Peking University, Beijing. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University at Albany, a M.A. in economics from Peking University, and a B.A in economics from Peking University.
